I’m a writer in my late 30′s from Southern California. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on High Technology Management. I currently manage two children, three cats, two chickens, and one husband.
I try to be kind to the earth. I use cloth diapers, cloth napkins, and washcloths instead of paper towels. I used to think being green meant buying expensive alternatives. Now I know being green saves me money.
I’ve been married since 2007 to Adam. A few years ago Adam was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. It has been an adventure. I recommend reading Look Me in the Eye and The Journal of Best Practices for more insight into adults with Aspergers.
I use pseudonyms for my children on this blog. Egg is a three year old boy who loves all things pretty. You can read more about him on my GenderQueer page. Coop was born at home with the support of my midwife in a planned homebirth. I’m a breastfeeding, co-sleeping, and baby wearing mama. You should read this post before making the decision to circumcise your son.
Chicken is my 16 year old son from a previous marriage. He currently resides with his dad after living with me for his whole life. He is gay, and I believe strongly in equal rights for all of the LGBTQIA community.
I have fibromyalgia and all the lovely things that come with it. If you would like a glimpse of what it is like to have an invisible, chronic illness, read Spoon Theory.
I’m here to write. This blog is not a business. I’m not going to ask you for likes or sell you on my brand. Want to know more? Email Me.
